Lifelines: How Personal Writing Can Save Your Life
Writing is a 'lifeline,' teaches Christina Baldwin. It can guide you through life's transitions, reveal parts of your self yearning to be expressed, and even transmit the essence of who you are to inspire future generations.
On Lifelines, the visionary who started the personal writing movement, shows you how to save your life in all these ways and more - with only a pen and paper or a laptop.
When Baldwin's first book, One to One: Self-Understanding through Journal Writing, was published in 1977, the Library of Congress had to create a new category for her pioneering work. Since that time, through her workshops, retreats, and seminars, Baldwin has worked with tens of thousands of people. For thirty years, she has been expanding her knowledge of the ways writing can organize your life, reveal the deeper meaning in life experiences, and map uncharted territories within you.
Now, for the first time, you have access to Christina Baldwin's stories, wisdom, and most powerful techniques, together in one comprehensive course: Lifelines: How Personal Writing Can Save Your Life.
Reviews and Praise:
"If you are looking for a way to explore, deepen and connect with your life through writing, Christina Baldwin’s Lifelines is waiting for you. This six CD set is nothing less than a prescription for living through the power of personal writing. Baldwin provides a realistic roadmap as you join her on a journey to the Self. When I’m not sharing her wisdom in my workshops, I keep the CDs in my car – she goes with me everywhere. It’s like being with a best friend who wants nothing more than to see you live your life fully and shine."

About the Author, Christina Baldwin
Christina Baldwin is a writer and seminar presenter of 30+ years experience. She has contributed two classic books to the exploration of journal writing, including the well-known classic, Life's Companion, Journal Writing as a Spiritual Practice, revised and reissued in 2007 after 100,000 original sales. This work led her to a long study of personal growth and group dynamics and as a result of that experience she wrote Calling the Circle, the First and Future Culture to explore how social container releases needed wisdom. In recognition of the requirement for increased spirituality, she wrote, The Seven Whispers, A Spiritual Practice for Times Like These. Her legacy book, Storycatcher, Making Sense of our Lives through the Power and Practice of Story, reminds readers of the necessity of story to communicate in all areas of professional and personal life. Continuing the exploration of collaborative dialogue, Christina and Ann Linnea wrote a new classic, The Circle Way, A Leader in Every Chair, which documents applications of PeerSpirit Circle Process as a foundational tool for local to global change.
