PeerSpirit councils have occurred among people in businesses, corporations, non-profit associations, universities and schools, religious, and civic organizations, and personal groups. PeerSpirit methodology is working throughout the US, Canada, and in thirty-five other countries.

Both Christina Baldwin and Ann Linnea, co-founders of PeerSpirit, are authors, and many people initially discover us through one of our books. We bring decades of experience in group facilitation, teaching, public speaking, writing, leadership, and adventure.

Our blend of skills and strengths allows us to provide life-changing experiences from mountain-tops to corporate headquarters, from once-in-a-lifetime adventures to on-going consulting. The thread that runs through all our services is a belief in the power of conversation to bring people into communities of respect and shared purpose. Once in such communities, we find the support and courage to take whatever action is ours in the challenges of this time in the world.

Services

Circle Practica

Several times a year we offer training seminars in retreat settings that invite people to learn circle facilitation skills. These groups consist of consultants, educators, business and community leaders, clergy and religious lay leaders. Besides these PeerSpirit seminars, we collaborate with other sponsors to provide variations on this training, such as our work in 2001 with From the Four Directions. We continually seek collaborative arrangements and provide private trainings and seminars to specific groups and organizations.

Consulting and Coaching

Many people in organizations sense the need for a conversation they're NOT having... PeerSpirit council methodology provides a format to get to those conversations that elicits wisdom from each member in the group and fosters integrated decision-making, action, and direction.

PeerSpirit provides initial training, facilitation and consulting, followed by ongoing mentoring and coaching for those in leadership positions. Drawing on our decades of experience, we tailor our facilitation skills to respond to your organizational needs.

Wilderness Adventures

In an era when the mind can scarcely comprehend the pace of cyberspace, it is more important than ever that we take the time to immerse ourselves in the natural world. The replenishment and insight gleaned from these adventures sustain participants for months. These small group adventures – both women only and mixed gender opportunities – tend to fill quickly. In 2002 we are pleased to be partnering with Omega Institute/Costa Rica as well as offering our own trips to the Big Island, Hawaii, Desolation Sound, British Columbia, and Whidbey Island, Washington.

Writing and Spirituality Seminars

Both founders of PeerSpirit are inspirational and entertaining authors who value a good story and know how to tell one. PeerSpirit annually sponsors Christina Baldwin's widely known creative writing seminar "The Self as the Source of the Story," as well as other opportunities to work with each of these fine writers in seminars and through personal mentoring in writing and spiritual practice.
