For those of you paying by credit card for a PeerSpirit product or seminar/trip, we use VeriSign for our payment gateway, and your card information is input directly into the order form hosted on VeriSign's secure server. This information is protected by VeriSign's data encryption and firewall. VeriSign makes the following claim:

How will you know if your connection is secure? Simply check the lower edge of your browser window. If you see a closed lock or an unbroken key (depending on what browser you are using), SSL is working.
Information We Collect and Retain
When you request information, subscribe to our e-newsletter or place an order on our site, we collect basic information from you, including your name, address, phone, e-mail address and, for purchases, credit card information. We use this information to respond to any questions you may have and/or to confirm your order or registration.
To make a purchase from our online store, we'll ask you to create a profile by entering your email address and creating a password. You'll then provide your contact information and your preferred shipping address. Each time you return to our store, you can log in with your email address and password.
Setting up a password-protected account means you don't have to re-enter your contact and shipping information every time you shop. If you forget your password, simply click on the "Forgot Password?" link at the bottom of the page. You'll then be directed to input your email address, and your password will be sent to you.
You may browse the PeerSpirit store without creating an account – but you'll need to create one the first time you purchase an item.
Peer Spirit Subscriber List
If you make inquiries about a PeerSpirit seminar/trip/product, or make a purchase at peerspirit.com, we add your name to our subscriber list, which enables you to receive our monthly e-mail newsletter. The newsletter contains a brief essay on the use of circle in various settings, along with updates to our PeerSpirit schedule of writing workshops, circle trainings, and adventure trips. We may also e-mail you notices of special PeerSpirit work in your part of the country.
We realize that many people are inundated with e-mail these days. So, if for any reason you do not wish to receive this information, you may unsubscribe at any time. Simply click on the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of every PeerSpirit email announcement to take your name off of our list. Or you may simply e-mail us and we'll unsubscribe you.
Sharing Your Information
PeerSpirit does NOT sell or share our subscriber list with any other company, organization or agency. This has been our policy in the past and will continue to be so in the future.
