PeerSpirit Writing Workshops

A writer is a person who writes.

The writing seminars and workshops offered through PeerSpirit are designed to support people who write to fulfill their creative longings. As published authors, Ann and Christina share a passion for the written word and are gifted in helping other writers achieve their goals of self-expression.

Our offerings range from a weekend session geared toward expanding journal writing skills, to longer seminars devoted to serious study of memoir, as well as mentoring writers toward publication.

writing workshopsWith her first book, One to One, Self-Understanding through Journal Writing (1977), Christina became a founder in the renaissance of personal writing that continues today. All seminars are based on Christina's contributions to writing and story: Life's Companion, Journal Writing as a Spiritual Practice, Lifelines, How Personal Writing Can Save your Life (audio) and Storycatcher, Making Sense of our Lives through the Power and Practice of Story.

Starting in 1991, Ann and Christina have collaborated to combine writing, story, and nature, based on Ann's books, Teaching Kids to Love the Earth, and Deep Water Passage, A Spiritual Journey at Mid-life, and Keepers of the Trees: A Guide to Re-Greening North America.
